The secret of finding inspiration.

Whatever you go through in this life, however challenging it may be, and you find yourself unable to write, please do not despair.

For so long I have struggled with this, personally, to the point I even questioned my own ability to write. I couldn't even bare being here because this had become my failure and I couldn't even face it. Not enough vocabulary, poor grammar, even my own writings were boring me, I hated its repetitiveness. The list went on and on and it became very painful, faced with my own limitations. I couldn't even write the way I used to, and I missed it dearly. I didn't know at the time that we all evolve, progress without realizing and it was perfectly normal.

And the more I fought with myself to find inspiration, watching my own world crumble before my very own eyes, because writing had become in a sense my very freedom, the more I couldn't even attempt to write a single sentence. Nothing could assuage my loss.

I have finally realized that writing is like an elusive and gentle butterfly.
If you chase it with all your might, it will fly away from you.
However if you remain calm and at peace with yourself, it will eventually return and land softly on the palm of your hand, witnessing in awe its true beauty unraveling before your very eyes. 

Accept the fact that yes, we can't always be inspired on a daily basis, it's perfectly alright, nothing wrong with that.
Acceptance of your own limitations is the key, deal with your emotions the best you can, because we all learn as we go.
Just stop fighting with yourself to force the issue.
When you sense it has eventually returned, take it slowly and see where it will leads you.
Let it express what it was meant to do.
Look around you and truly admire the beauty that surrounds you.
